Frequently asked questions

Why build a cat enclosure?

Every year millions of native birds and mammals are killed by roaming cats.  Some cat owners find it hard to believe that their cats are natural hunters, but if given the chance…

Local Authorities in many areas have started fining cat owners if their cat is found off their  property. As cat owners we have a legal responsibility to protect the welfare of our pets.

But it is your cat who will benefit most. A stimulating outdoor area offers freedom to explore, exercise, take in the sounds and smells …. and it can be a wonderful space to share with you

Is my garden too small?

We can accommodate all garden shapes and sizes.

Using tunnels and walkways can increase your cats territory in a safe and inexpensive way.

Tunnels can connect at different angles, so whatever your space dictates we can find a creative solution to allow your cat to enjoy some fresh air.

We can build secure window boxes and small towers to fit your individual needs or if you have your own ideas, please just ask us.

How do I decide what style of cat enclosure?

We’ve built lots of different cat enclosures, often in tricky areas.

We offer friendly advice … and always a little encouragement.

“I’ve been thinking about it for ages” is quite often the first thing we hear.

With so many options it can be hard to know where to start but we can help you through the process.

Send us a few photos and measurements of the area and we can give you a good idea of what is possible.

How much does a cat enclosure cost?

We can usually give individual price estimates based on previous experience and a few basic details. If you are interested, please send a few photos of the area and rough measurements and we can go from there.
